.. I have, of course, even if it was quiet here.
Again a book by a some of my more recent discoveries. About the first volume
I reported already, now I have read the second.
Louise Penny: And fear breeds anger
the picturesque artists' village of Three Pines in the forests of Canada is preparing for a peaceful winter festival. Since destroyed a gruesome event, the rural idyll: On the edge of death every year uf a
a frozen lake held curling competition Cecilia de Poitiers - on a metal chair from shock. Was it a tragic accident or a malicious planned murder? Inspector Gamache hit a wall of silence, none of the villagers will have noticed something. But Armand Gamache knows that lurk behind white lace curtains often dark abyss. For no one could suffer the hard-hearted Cecilia - neither her nor her husband silent spineless lover or her daughter Crie. And certainly not a single resident of Three Pines. Soon there are more than enough suspects - but who has the macabre murder thought really? Fits the weather plays the detective in icecold Canadian winter. However, it is really cuddly :-)
I liked it very much good, although I guessed relatively fixed, because whosoever has been well. 'm Obviously in the course but the doubts come, and something changed sides, but My initial suspicion has been vindicated. And this is really a well constructed Inspector person, sympathetic, not too eccentric (some already) and most of all: No action fan, but slowly and quietly.
